VR support [edit]

Issues unresolved [edit]

Clipping issues with small landscape obstructions [edit]

Slope interactions are slightly different at 60 FPS, may cause getting "stuck" on small obstructions.[v] This problems is not nowadays in Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition at 30 fps, see Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition#cite note-flooring collision-17.

Broken gyre and feet animations [edit]

Strange animations when rolling or shifting anxiety unique to the Remastered version.[half dozen]

Missing ambient sound [edit]

Ambient sound sometimes does not load for case when irresolute areas.[7]

Reloading fixes temporarily.

Issues stock-still [edit]

"Fatal error: The system does non meet the minimum memory requirement to run the application" [edit]

Install ≥6GB RAM or install DSR.rar fix[8] [9]

Reduce occurrence of enemies teleporting when using jumping attacks [citation needed] [edit]

Utilize Riva Tuner Statistics Server to cap frame rate at 45-48 FPS
  1. Download RivaTuner Statistics Server (RTSS) and install.
  2. Open up RTSS.
  3. Brand sure Framerate Limit is selected (click on Frametime Limit, if shown, to toggle between the two settings) and set the value to 45-48 FPS, depending on preference. Most other RTSS settings may exist left at default.
  4. Leave RTSS running in the background or minimized while playing.
FPS cap of 45 FPS does not excessively wearisome down gameplay or animations.

The game doesn't find Xbox One (and newer) gamepads [edit]

Disable configurations back up in Steam controller settings and apply devreorder to hide XInput device(s)
  1. Download devreorder and unpack it into a temporary folder

  3. Open devreorder.ini for editing and paste the GUIDs into [subconscious] section, salvage the file
